waterjet profiling.
With three waterjet machines, Evolution Engineering is one of the largest waterjet profiling workshops in Australia. Having our massive profiling section inhouse, means we are a one stop shop. Waterjet profiling is the ideal solution for cutting complex shapes and designs thanks to the precision and omni-directional cutting, sharp corners, bevels, and pierce holes. Stacking, nesting and tabbing can also be used to reduce cutting time and save on materials.
Our profiling machines have the capability to cut an enormous range of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, brass, copper, plastics, ceramics, rubber, porcelain, and glass in a manner that’s quick, accurate and cost-effective. With almost no secondary cutting required, our waterjet profiling machines offer many unique capabilities and advantages compared to standard cutting tools.
Not to mention we are able to maintain an accuracy of 0.20mm, and the ability to cut up to 150mm steel. Our machine’s cold cutting capabilities means we can effectively cut materials that would usually be burned, melted, or cracked by other cutting methods. The machines we use also make sure the material being profiled is not affected by thermal stress, leaving no heat affected zones.
