For quick, accurate, cost effective cutting on almost any material, nothing compares to our profiling system. Our 3 Waterjet Machines, makes us one of the largest in Australia and we have capabilities to cut an enormous range of materials.

We maintain an accuracy of 0.25mm, and have the ability to cut up to 150mm steel. Our machine’s inherent cold cutting quality allows materials to be cut that would usually be burned, melted, or cracked by other cutting methods. Compared to plasmas and lasers, our machines undergo no thermal stress leaving no Heat Affected Zones.

Capable of cutting just about any material with almost no secondary operations, our 3 machines offer many unique capabilities and advantages compared to standard cutting tools, which prove cost-effective for most industries. We can cut up to 1500mm steel

What are the advantages of waterjet profiling?

  • Cold cutting—no heat affected zones or hardening—making it easier to work with afterwards
  • Omni-directional cutting
  • Perforates most materials without starting holes
  • Can cut virtually any material
  • Net-shape, or near-net-shape parts
  • Minimal fixturing required
  • Does not overwork the material—stress-free cutting
  • Saves raw material—small cutting kerf width & nesting capabilities
  • Faster than conventional cutting tools

Waterjet profiling is great for cutting complex shapes and designs. Due to the precision and omni-directional cutting, sharp corners, bevels, pierce holes, and any complicated shapes are easily cut. Stacking, nesting and tabbing can be utilised to reduce cutting time and save on materials.

We have successfully used our 3 waterjet profilers to create quality pieces for a range of industries in the Mackay region, including:

  • Sugar
  • Rural
  • Mining
  • Agricultural
  • Building & construction
  • Domestic

What materials can waterjet profilers cut?

  • Aluminium
  • Stainless steel
  • Titanium
  • Metal alloys
  • Carbon fibre
  • Graphite
  • Brass
  • Copper
  • Bronze
  • Acrylic
  • Marble
  • Granite
  • Stone
  • Glass
  • Fibreglass
  • Kevlar
  • Bullet proof material
  • Ceramics
  • Porcelain
  • Friction material
  • Rubber
  • Gasket material

Due to the precision and stress-free cutting, even fragile materials like porcelain and glass can be accurately cut without damage.
